President <br /> South Bend Common Council <br /> 4th Floor County City Bldg <br /> South Bend, IN. 46601 <br /> Dear Ann, <br /> Attached is Ordinance #66-94 . this Ordinance comes before council <br /> to a correction from an earlier ordinance presented <br /> before council to establish the golf course budget. <br /> Earlier in 1994 when the ordinance to set-up a golf course <br /> division budget was approved, we appropriated monies from the <br /> park maintenance fund to cover the 1994 golf course expenditures. <br /> When this ordinance was approved and the monies were appropriated <br /> we had intended to reimburse the park maintenance budget with the <br /> appropriation of two additional ordinance transfers. The first, <br /> was an ordinance request to transfer non-reverting revenues, and <br /> the second was to appropriate a portion of the operating balance <br /> for park capital improvements. When these ordinance's were <br /> approved, the monies were appropriated into the golf division <br /> budget, henceforth, allocating twice the funding intended. <br /> Both, Ordinance #62-94 & 66-94 are sent before you to allow both <br /> division 's budgets to reflect the budget as originally intended <br /> to purchase used golf carts, miscellaneous golf equipment, and <br /> various other portions of the previous golf pro contracts. As <br /> Fiscal Officer for the Park Department I ask for your favorable <br /> passage of these two ordinance's.
