INSUFFICIENT SPECIMEN <br />An Employee who provides an insufficient specimen of urine of <br />breath when required to do so shall be referred to an appropriate <br />medical professional for evaluation at the participant's expense. <br />If the medical evaluation fails to reveal an acceptable medical <br />explanation for the inability to provide a specimen, the donor <br />shall be considered to have refused to test and shall be subject to <br />the rules as outlined in this policy. If a legitimate medical reason <br />is revealed, no action shall, be taken. <br />MIFUNX�- <br />An Employee providing a Dilute Specimen will be given the <br />opportunity, to return to a collection site within fbay-eight (48) <br />hours to provide a second (2nd) specimen, on his/her own time. <br />'This second specimen shall be given pursuant to observed <br />collection protocol and procedures. <br />E,niployees should ref -rain fi-oin excessive C011SUMption of fluids <br />prior to the retest. No adverse action shall be taken against any <br />Employee based on a first (1) Dilute Specimen, unless the Dilute <br />Specimen is confirmed, to be as Positive Test or the Employee fails <br />to provide the second (2nd) specimen in compliance with the <br />forty-eight (48) hour time period and procedures set forth herein. <br />A second (2nd) diluted specimen, without a valid medical reason, <br />will be treated as a refusal to submit to testing and a <br />Non -Compliant Event, regardless of the test results. <br />ADULTERATED., SUBSTITUTE D AND/OR ' OUT -OF -TEMPERATURE RANGE SPECIMEN <br />When a urine specimen is reported as adulterated, substituted, <br />out of temperature (meaning the specimen is below 90OF or <br />above 1000F) or the Employee compromises the testing protocol <br />W <br />
