Michigan Street <br />Ms. Auburn made a motion authorizing the Redevelop- <br />ment Department to publish invitations to bidders <br />and receive bids for Contract No. 40; for demolition <br />and site clearance, Project Ind. R -66, for parcels <br />8-7, 8 -8, and 8 -8A, seconded by Mr. Robinson, and <br />the motion was unanimously carried. <br />LESS REPORTS <br />1) L tier, from James 14. Harcus, dated February '15, <br />l 79, Re: Southwest #0'2 Electrical Contract With <br />F F Electric Approved. <br />Mr. Harcus: At the last Redevelopment Commission <br />meeting Southwest #02 electrical contract with F &F <br />Electric was approved subject to that company proving <br />compliance with prevailing wages. It may now be <br />reported that F &F Electric has paid back due fringe <br />b nefits and is in compliance. As per instructions of <br />t e Commission, the Bureau of Housing has notified <br />F F Electric as to its award of SW #02 Contract, and <br />h s had it approved by the Common Council. <br />T�e Chair directed that this letter be received and <br />p aced on file. <br />APPROVAL OF <br />CONTRACT <br />AWARDED TO <br />F& F ELEC- <br />TRIC <br />2) . Ellison: It is with regret that I must announce <br />to the Commission that Ms. Jan Beach, who replaced <br />Marc Brammer, as our Real Estate Officer, has resigned <br />effective the 28th day of February 1979. Ms. Beach <br />will be working in the private sector managing a <br />1 rge apartment complex. Although she has only been <br />W th us a short time, Jan has contributed significantly <br />t our efforts, particularly in the Century Mall project. <br />Mr. Nimtz: The Commissioners certainly want to wish <br />her well and congratulate her upon receiving this <br />opportunity for employment, and we do want to compliment <br />her for the job she has done while she was with the <br />department. <br />-6- <br />RESIGNATION <br />OF MS.
