COMMISSIONER'S REGULAR MEETING
Friday, arch 17, 1978
FLOOR DISCUSSIONS
Questions asked of Mr. Brademas regarding his proposal):
Ms. eanne Derbeck: Is that why subsidy is based on these?
Mr. rademas: Absolutely.
Ms. eanne Derbeck: Of course there are a lot of people who don't need
ass
Mr. rademas: That is right. We have people living in our project over
there who are paying the full rent. We have a number of them in our project
that do that, just because it is the kind of housing they want, the location
they want. I think we will find the same thing even more so here.
Ms. geanne Derbeck: Would it be elderly housing?
Mr. rademas. Yes, over 62 years of age.
Mr. an Caesar: Have you dealt with this project by a name?
Mr. rademas: No we haven't. I appreciate the kind attention that I have
rece ved here today.
Mr. imtz: Brooks, we are indebted to you for coming over and spending
your time. As the Chair well knows, things like this cost money. You
just don't do this and not spend money to have it done. We know you have
quit an investment involved in this thing already. I will say this....
I saw your mother at the teachers credit union last week, and she is
anti ipating this move.
Mr. Plimtz continued.......
As the Chair directed before, unless there is some objection we will
receive this, and refer it to the staff for study and recommendation to
the Commission. Mr. Soltesz, the Chair will officially recognize you and
welc me you back. I am sorry that I was unable to be here last week, but
I wa in court last week, and I recognize your return. Do you have any
word of wisdom for us?
Mr. $oltesz: Only that I wish you all a Happy St. Patrick's Day.
Mr. imtz: Is there anything further anyone desires to bring before the
Commission?
-20-
