ORDINANCE NO. g-566-9(/ <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AMENDING CHAPTER 6 OF <br /> THE SOUTH BEND MUNICIPAL CODE ENTITLED "BUILDING' <br /> STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT <br /> The City of South Bend has endeavored to promote the health, safety <br /> and general welfare of the City through permits, inspections, and <br /> licensing, and the City of South Bend has determined that the amending <br /> the permits, inspections, and licensing would be a benefit to the <br /> citizens of the City. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of <br /> South Bend, Indiana, as follows: <br /> Section 1: <br /> That Section 6-10(c) of Article 4, Plumbing Code, be amended as <br /> follows: <br /> (c) Schedule of permit fees. Permits issued for plumbing work <br /> within the City shall be subject to the following fee schedule: <br /> -Each-plumbing-fixture-or-trap-or-wet-ef-fixtures-on- <br /> one-(1)-trap;-ineiading-Mater;-drainage-piping- <br /> and-backf1ow-protection-therefor $-4.00 <br /> Each plumbing fixture or trap or set of fixtures on <br /> one trap, including water and drainage piping <br /> therefor $ 4.00 <br /> Each backflow protection 5.00 <br /> --Each-building-sewer 3:9e <br /> Each building sewer: <br /> Under 100' $10.00 <br /> 100' or over 20.00 <br /> Each building water: <br /> Under 100' $10.00 <br /> 100' or over 20.00 <br /> Each water softener 6.00 <br /> Each trailer park sewer 9.00 <br /> Each drain within building for rainwater systems 4.00 <br /> Each water heater and/or vent 6.00 <br /> Each gas piping system of 1 to 4 outlets 3.00 <br /> Each gas piping system of 5 or more, per outlet 1.00 <br /> Each industrial waste pretreatment interception, <br /> including its trap and vent, excepting <br /> kitchen-type grease interceptors functioning as <br /> fixture traps 7.00 <br /> Installation, alteration or repair of water piping <br /> and/or water treating equipment 5.00 <br />
