South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br /> Regular Meeting—September 13, 2012 <br /> Phase 2, <br /> After the completion of Phase 1, we would <br /> like to add an additional area to the west side <br /> of our building. Phase 2 includes the lot at <br /> 1017 West Indiana Avenue, South Bend, <br /> Indiana (#018-8053-2134). This Phase will <br /> be approximately 1,500 square feet. Phase 2 <br /> will be our new processing lab. Currently, <br /> we run our tests for our customers in another <br /> location in another state. <br /> We would like to run these tests in our own <br /> facility. Having a lab on site will let us run <br /> test more often and in our building. <br /> This expansion will save us money on <br /> traveling to the current testing lab and lost <br /> time of being away from the plant. <br /> The expansion of Phase 2 will allow us the <br /> opportunity to hire additional people. <br /> See Phase 2 drawing. <br /> Thank you, Michael Vance <br /> Upon a motion by Mr. Davis, seconded by COMMISSION REFERRED THE BID FOR 1017 W. <br /> Mr. Varner and unanimously carried, the INDIANA TO STAFF AND LEGAL FOR REVIEW <br /> Commission referred the bid for 1017 W. <br /> Indiana to staff and legal for review. <br /> B.
