The bid tabulation sheets <br />indicates that Plaia Construction bid $54,971.00; Charles Brown <br />Maintenance Company Inc. did not bid; Greg Britton bid $55,254.00; <br />H & H Builders did not bid; Slatile Roofing and Sheet Metal Company <br />I c. bid $67,875.00. The low bidder according to the tabulation <br />s eet is $54,971.00 by Plaia Construction Company." <br />. Robinson: "Mr. Crighton, since I have not been on the Board <br />long, is this the first time this Britton and H &H Builders <br />re involved, even though they didn't bid ?" <br />M% Cri hton: "Mr. Britton is a contractor that has been involved <br />ii rehabilitation in Elkhart, Mishawaka but has never been to <br />S )uth Bend before. H & H Builders bid in Model Cities. Charles <br />B own Maintenance and H & H Builders, although they did not return <br />t eir bids both called me Monday evening and explained they felt <br />t ey did not have time to get involved although they had picked up <br />d cuments. So we did have pretty good response." <br />Mt. Robinson: "Evidently, with your new procedure it has increased <br />t e interest, thank goodness, I hope it continues." <br />Mtn.
