Cholis, Attorney PAYMENT <br />re The Philadelphia, Inc. et al vs City of South Bend, Superior APPROVED OF <br />No. H -2051: C. Wayne Brownell read this letter and stated that the JUDGMENT TO <br />purpose of this letter as well as that of Mr. Patton's letter to THE PHILA.IN( <br />us, same subject, is to give us the amount of the payment we are AMT. OF <br />to make to the Philadelphia people, subject to HUD approval. Mr. $2789.80 <br />Patton's letter, directed to me, requests that the check be issued to <br />the Philadelphia, Inc. and Paul T. Cholis and Charles W. Leahy, <br />Attorneys, in the sum of $2,789.80, which includes judgment in <br />the sum of $2725.80, court costs in the sum of $28.00 and interest <br />to May 29, 1977, in the sum of $36.00. Interest on the judgment <br />is computed at the rate of 8% per annum from March 29, 1977. Mr. <br />Brownell stated that he would like authorization from the Commission <br />to make payment as indicated. <br />Mr. Cira moved to authorize payment of the above judgment, pending <br />HUD approval, Mr. Donaldson seconded the motion and it carried. <br />Certificate of Completion, Whitcomb & Keller Building, Block 6: WHITCOMB & <br />Mr. Brownell read portions of a letter from James E. Childs & KELLER BLDG. <br />Associates, signed by Mr. James Childs, which indicated he had COMPLETION <br />inspected the building and finds it substantially completed. He CTF. APPROVE[ <br />states that some of the doors are not hung yet but says..... °in <br />conclusion our professional opinion is that the building is sub- <br />stantially complete and in substantial conformance with the informa- <br />tion shown on the plans and in the specifications."
