To qualify for the housing allowance pro- <br />gram? <br />Mr. Brownell: No, this is just part of the rehabilitation. <br />The air: The handrail thing is part of their requirements . . . <br />Mr. Brownell: These people were very much upset that they weren't <br />goin., to get this kitchen fixed that the lady wanted. Her daughter <br />called me and I explained to her that the only way they could get <br />something more was to eliminate something, because you can't in- <br />crease the contract. <br />The hair: So they want to do a trade off? <br />Mr. Brownell: That's what they want to do. <br />Mr. Donaldson: I am concerned more or less about the price on this <br />deletion, $100 to secure loose boards. Isn't that quite a bit of <br />money just to secure loose boards? <br />Mr. rownell: It says in here "do:not' damage linoleum;" I take it <br />they had to take up the linoleum to get at it, is that right? <br />Mr. ohnson: In one room, yes. <br />Mr. Brownell: Are these the amounts that were on the contract? They <br />deleted the amounts that were on the contract, Pete. I agree with you. <br />Mr. onaldson: My concern is with the price. <br />Mr. rownell: They were going to secure one and replace sub floor <br />and egular floor and paint two coats. <br />The hair: What is your pleasure on this? <br />Motion was made by Mr. Donaldson, seconded by Mr. Robinson and <br />carried, to approve Change Order No. 1 to Contract SECD /PR /CS -2/19 <br />for a net increase of $54.00, amended contract price -- $7,999.00. <br />-7- <br />
