The South Bend Redevelopment Trustees met on Friday D cember 3rd, 1976, for the purpose of appointing the Redevelopment C mmissioners and I am pleased to announce that we unanimously re- a pointed the present Commissioners, F. Jay Nimtz, Don Wiggins, A. P ter Donaldson, Robert Cira and Lloyd Robinson, for the year 1977. I want to congratulate them on their re- appointments." Mr. Nimtz thanked Mr. Morrison and said he presumed the salaries remain the same as for the present year. He indicated his appreciation and that of the other Commissioners for the honor and assured him they will all continue to try to do their best with the charge that was given them. At this point, Mr. Cira arrived at 10:07 A.M. When the Commissioners were asked for comments, Mr. Wiggins told the story Abe Lincoln used to tell about the guy who was ridden out of town on a rail after being tarred and feathered and when asked what he thought of the whole thing, said: "I think if it wasn't for the honor I would have rather walked ". M�. Brownell announced that the swearing in would come at the first m eting in January. Chair stated that by statute the next commission meeting will be sday, January 4, 1977 at 10 a.m., which is the annual organization ting of the Commissioners. M . Wiggins then asked if it would be appropriate to make a motion that WE conduct out regular order of business in a meeting following the o ganizational meeting so that we may accomplish both on the same day. T e Chair indicated it would be appropriate and Mr. Wiggins so moved. ..that the regular meeting of January 7, 1977 be moved to January 4, i mediately following the annual Re- organizational meeting of the C mmissioners. The motion was seconded by Mr. Cira and carried. 5. CORRESPONDENCE a. Letter dated December 7, 1976 from Patrick, Anderson and McDonald, Attorneys at Law, re Columbus Wood Preserving Company vs Nautilus Construction Company Claim of Sub - Contractor Materialman: C.
