IV <br />V.I <br />APPOINTMENT OF REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSIONERS (Continued) <br />Mr. Morrison indicated he will notify each of the Commissioners <br />that they have been re- appointed and Mr. C. Wayne Brownell <br />made mention of the fact that the swearing in ceremony will <br />take place on Tuesday, January 4, 1977 inasmuch as Monday, <br />January 3, 1977 has been declared a holiday by the City of <br />South Bend and all offices will be closed on that day. <br />Mr. Morrison commented that he would like to mention something <br />about the kind of individuals who serve on the Board of Trus- <br />tees—particularly the responsibilities he assumes in his <br />community, his city, his country and his world. Mr. Bert <br />Liss who is a member of our Board of Trustees is being honored <br />by the State of Israel - he will receive the State of Israel <br />Peace Award. The members of the Board and Mr. Brownell then <br />congratulated Mr. Liss on this honor. <br />The Chair asked if there was any other business or comments <br />and Mr. Liss indicated he would like to be here when the <br />Commissioners are sworn in - the time being 10:00 A.M. on <br />Tuesday, January 4, 1977. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />There being no further business before the Board, at 9:25 a.m. <br />motion was duly made by Mr. Kelly for adjournment.
