7. <br />TRIBUTE <br />TO DR. OLIVER C. CARMICHAEL <br />President <br />Nimtz expressed the sorrow of the passing of one of our great <br />TRIBUTE <br />community <br />leaders, Dr. Oliver C. Carmichael, as mentioned in the Tribune <br />TO DR. <br />Editorial <br />last evening. Dr. Carmichael was very much involved in the <br />OLIVER C. <br />Downtown <br />South Bend, and in the program for rehabilitation. Many people <br />CARMICHAEL <br />will <br />never know the amount of time and effort he has been placing in <br />this <br />project. A meeting had been scheduled to go to Washington this <br />week <br />which was cancelled because of the commitments for another meeting <br />here <br />n South Bend yesterday so we didn't go. <br />The Chair <br />appointed Commissioner Wiggins and himself to prepare an appro- <br />priate <br />resolution to be placed on record of the Commission concerning <br />the passing <br />of Dr. Oliver C.
