<br />Horticultural Applications
<br />Bifenthrin 7.9F Select'' is effective for use on a broad range of insects and mites on trees, shrubs, leafy plants,
<br />nonbearing fruit and nut trees, and bedding plants. It may also be used on interior plants found in hotels,
<br />shopping malls, office buildings and other similar areas, Bifenthrin 7.91' Select may be used by itself or in
<br />a tank mix with other products such as insect growth regulators.
<br />Turf Applications
<br />Bifenthrin 7.91' Select can be used as a broadcast treatment on turfgrass for control of many insects including
<br />armyworms, cutworms, chinch bugs, ants and ticks. Bifenthrin 7.9F Select may be applied at up to 1 fl. oz. per
<br />1,000 square feet at the discretion of the applicator. Maximum residual control requires the higher treatment
<br />rates.
<br />Pest Control On Outside Surfaces And Around Buildings
<br />Bifenthrin 7.9F Select may be used to control Ants including Carpenter Ants and Fire Ants, Armyworms, Bees,
<br />Beetles, Biting Flies, Boxelder Bugs, Centipedes, Chiggers, Chinch Bugs, Clover Mites, Crickets, Cutworms,
<br />Dichondra Flea Beetles, Earwigs, Elm Leaf Beetles, Firebrats, Fleas, Flies, Gnats, Grasshoppers, Hornets,Japanese
<br />Beetles, Midges, Millipedes, Mosquitoes, Moths, Roaches (including Cockroaches), Scorpions, Silverfish, Sod
<br />Webworms, Sowbugs (Pillbugs), Spider Mites, Spiders (including Black Widow Spiders), SpringtailsTicks
<br />(including Brown Dog Ticks), and Wasps.
<br />Food Handling Establishments
<br />If used as a general spot, surface, or crack and crevice treatment, Bifenthrin 7.9F Select may be applied in
<br />both food/feed and nonfood areas of food/feed-handling establishments. Food/feed-handling establishments
<br />are any place other than private residences where exposed food/feed is held, processed, prepared or served,
<br />including areas for receiving, storing, packing (bottling, boxing, canning, wrapping), preparing, enclosed
<br />processing systems (dairies, edible oils, mills, syrups) of food and edible waste storage. Serving areas where food
<br />is exposed and the facility is in operation are also considered food areas. Nonfood areas in which applications
<br />are allowed include entries and vestibules, floor drains (to sewers), garages, garbage rooms, lavatories, locker
<br />rooms, machine rooms, mop closets, offices, and storage (after canning or bottling).
<br />Livestock And Poultry Buildings And Kennels
<br />Bifenthrin 79F Select may be used as a surface spray (including directed spray) and crack and crevice application
<br />for control of flies, fleas, beetles, bed bugs, mites and ticks. Usual cleaning of the structure must be completed
<br />along with the Bifenthrin 7.91' Select application for effective control.
