PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE) Applicators or handlers of this product must wear chemically impervious gloves, long-sleeved shirt, pants, socks, shoes and splash -proof safety goggles. Consult the SDS for further information. FIRST AID If Swallowed: Rinse mouth. Have person sip a glass of water if able to swallow. Do NOT induce vomiting, unless told to by a poison control center or doctor. Do not give anything to an unconscious person. If Inhaled: Move person to fresh air. If person is having difficulty breathing, give oxygen. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If In Eyes: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice or attention. If On Skin, Wash affected area with plenty of soap and water. Cold water may be used. If skin irritation occurs: Get medical advice or attention. GENERAL INFORMATION VIVAX is a combination of surfactants designed to increase volumetric water content and improve water infiltration on golf course fairways, greens and tees as well as sports turf. DIRECTIONS FOR USE Always mix and apply VIVAX in accordance with label instructions. Follow the application and mixing guidelines provided in this label. APPLICATION TECHNIQUES To achieve the best results, apply VIVAX prior to the onset of conditions that promote soil hydrophobicity or turf stress. Watering after the application will improve results by moving the product through the existing thatch layer into the root zone. In situations where tank mix partners achieve maximum efficacy by remaining on the leaf blade, irrigation may be delayed as specified on the tank mix partner's label. During periods of high temperature, all soil surfactants should be watered in to increase performance and safety. USE RATES Apply VIVAX at the rate of 5 ounces (148 ml) in a minimum of 1 gallon (3.79 L) of water per 1,000 square feet (92.9 m2) of turfgrass. Apply VIVAX at the rate of 220 ounces (6.51 L) in a minimum of 44 gallons (167 L) of water per acre (0.40 ha) of turfgrass. APPLICATION INTERVAL VIVAX should be applied every 30 days or when localized dry spot or water-repellent soils become evident. STORAGE AND DISPOSAL Protect product from freezing. If product freezes, warm to room temperature before use. Store in original container only and do not reuse empty container. Rinse container thoroughly, disposing of rinsate and the container in accordance with federal, state and local regulations. Do not store near heat or open flame.
