Mr. Crighton stated <br />fter much discussion with the Southeast Advisory Committee, which <br />erves as the recommending body for the Housing Allowance Referral <br />ontracts, because of the Newbill Construction Company's previous <br />ommitments and contracts that they have just started, it was felt <br />hat they would not be the best bidder in this particular instance. <br />e believed the Commission had expressed the desire to see exactly <br />hat Newbill's performance would be, prior to any additional contracts <br />eing awarded to that firm. The agreement for the four contracts <br />hey have right now is that they are to complete one house within <br />en (10) days, at which time they then will receive the Notice to <br />roceed on the second house,, and so on until they finish the four <br />- 15 - <br />
