Brownell explained this office has recently been used by <br />utilus Construction Corporation for their local office. <br />rner & Sons is the low bidder for this contract. Jackson <br />ecking Company picked up bid documents but did not submit <br />bid. <br />Mr. Wiggins made the motion Demolition & Site Clearance Contract <br />No. 36 be awarded to the low bidder, Warner & Sons, for their <br />Lid amount of $1,994.00, subject to Legal Counsel and HUD approval. <br />Potion was seconded by Mr. Robinson and carried. <br />d. Seven (7) contractors picked up bid documents. De- <br />m lition is for building on 112 -114 South Michigan Street, portion <br />c rrently being used by our River Bend P1aza.Office. <br />Mr. Brownell explained Warner & Sons submitted a very low bid that <br />was marked for Contract No. 37, but actually was an error in their <br />office and was intended for Contract No.'36. , Mr. Jack Warner imme- <br />diately hand - carried a letter to us dated June 29 explaining their <br />e ror, and requesting they be permitted to withdraw the bid sub- <br />m'tted that date. Mr. Brownell said he discussed this with Mr. <br />K vin J.
