PETITION TO VACATE PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY To: The Common Council of the Date: April 21 , 1995 City of South Bend, Indiana The City of South Bend Department of Redevelopment, acting by and through the South Bend Redevelopment Commission and New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, owners of those parcels of property as identified below, which property abuts the following- described right-of-way, PETITION the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana to VACATE the PUBLIC ALLEYS as described as : The alley to be vacated is described as the first east- west alley North of E. Ohio Street from the east right- of-way line of South Carroll Street to the west right- of-way line of South Columbia Street for a width of 14 feet and a length of approximately 198 feet; and from the east right-of-way line of South Columbia Street to the west right-of-way line of South Fellows Street for a width of 14 feet and a length of approximately 198 feet; also, Columbia Street from the north right-of-way line of East Ohio Street to the south right-of-way line of East Sample Street for a width of approximately 20 feet and a length of approximately 278 feet. Parts situated in Kirby' s Addition to the City of South Bend, St . Joseph County, Indiana. The petitioned vacation is proposed in order to allow redevelopment of the property listed below.
