2. S EARING -IN OF COMMISSIONERS BY DEPUTY CITY CLERK (Cont'd Commissioners were congratulated on their appointment. 3. ELECTION OF OFFICERS The Board recognized Mr. Kevin J. Butler, Commission Legal Counsel, who had consented to serve as Temporary Chairman for the election of officers. Nominations and seconds were requested for each of the following offices: 1) PRESIDENT: Mr. Wiggins nominated Mr. F. Jay Nimtz, to serve as President of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission. Motion was se- conded by Mr. Cira. The Chair asked if there were any other nominations. There being none, he requested a motion that the nominations be closed. Mr.. Donaldson moved that the nominations be closed. Motion was seconded by Mr. Robinson. The "ayes" were unanimous to elect Mr. Nimtz as the President of the Commission. Motion carried. 21 VICE PRESIDENT: 3' Mr. Donaldson nominated Mr. Donald A. Wiggins, to serve as Vice President of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission. Motion was seconded by Mr. Cira. The Chair asked if there were any other nominations. There being none, he requested a motion that the nominations be closed. Mr. Nimtz moved that the nominations be closed. Motion was seconded by Mr. Donaldson. The "ayes" were unanimous to elect Mr. Wiggins as the Vice President of the Commission. Motion carried. SECRETARY: Mr. Wiggins nominated Mr. A. Peter Donaldson, to serve as Secretary of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission. Motion was seconded by Mr. Cira. The Chair asked if there were any other nominations. There being none, he requested a motion that the nominations be closed. Mr. Robinson moved that the nominations be closed. Motion was seconded by Mr. Cira. The "ayes" were unanimous to elect Mr. Donaldson as the Secretary of the Commission. Motion carried. - 2 -
