2. S <br />EARING -IN OF COMMISSIONERS BY DEPUTY CITY CLERK (Cont'd <br />Commissioners were congratulated on their appointment. <br />3. ELECTION OF OFFICERS <br />The Board recognized Mr. Kevin J. Butler, Commission Legal Counsel, <br />who had consented to serve as Temporary Chairman for the election <br />of officers. Nominations and seconds were requested for each of <br />the following offices: <br />1) PRESIDENT: <br />Mr. Wiggins nominated Mr. F. Jay Nimtz, to serve as President <br />of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission. Motion was se- <br />conded by Mr. Cira. <br />The Chair asked if there were any other nominations. There <br />being none, he requested a motion that the nominations be <br />closed. <br />Mr.. Donaldson moved that the nominations be closed. Motion <br />was seconded by Mr. Robinson. The "ayes" were unanimous to <br />elect Mr. Nimtz as the President of the Commission. Motion <br />carried. <br />21 VICE PRESIDENT: <br />3' <br />Mr. Donaldson nominated Mr. Donald A. Wiggins, to serve as <br />Vice President of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission. <br />Motion was seconded by Mr. Cira. <br />The Chair asked if there were any other nominations. There <br />being none, he requested a motion that the nominations be <br />closed. <br />Mr. Nimtz moved that the nominations be closed. Motion was <br />seconded by Mr. Donaldson. The "ayes" were unanimous to <br />elect Mr. Wiggins as the Vice President of the Commission. <br />Motion carried. <br />SECRETARY: <br />Mr. Wiggins nominated Mr. A. Peter Donaldson, to serve as <br />Secretary of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission. <br />Motion was seconded by Mr. Cira. <br />The Chair asked if there were any other nominations. There <br />being none, he requested a motion that the nominations be <br />closed. <br />Mr. Robinson moved that the nominations be closed. Motion <br />was seconded by Mr. Cira.
