(APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />Mr. Kelly moved for the approval of the Minutes of the Redevelopment <br />Trustees Special Meeting of July 2, 1975, as mailed. Motion was <br />seconded by Mr. Richardson and carried. <br />III. ELECTION OF OFFICERS FOR REDEVELOPMENT TRUSTEES <br />St. Joseph Circuit Court Judge, The Honorable John W. Montgomery, <br />nominated Mr. Bert Liss, to serve as a member of the South Bend <br />Board of Redevelopment Trustees to fill the unexpired term of Mr. <br />Edgar Wertheimer. The appointment was made by the Mayor, City of <br />South Bend, The Honorable Jerry J. Miller, on the 20th day.of <br />November, 1975, and sworn in by the City Clerk, Irene K. Gammon. <br />The Trustees welcomed Mr. Liss as a member of the Board of Re- <br />development Trustees, and the Chair gave a brief outline of the <br />responsibilities involved. <br />The Trustees meet annually on the 1st Monday of December, at <br />which time they have an election of officers, appoint the Re- <br />development Commissioners, and handle any other business that may <br />come before them. The President of the Board of Trustees may call <br />a special meeting when he deems it expedient regarding any special <br />matters that may come before the Board in the interim. <br />The nominations were open.for the offices: <br />Mr. Richardson moved for the following nominations: Mr. Morrison <br />be retained as President, Mr. Kelly be moved to Vice President, <br />Mr. Liss be nominated as Secretary, and Mr. Richardson remain as <br />a member. <br />- 1 - <br />
