<br />PROJECT, INDIANA R -66:
<br />Mr. C. Wayne Brownell, Executive Director, Department of RE.,develop-
<br />m nt, read the letter from Indiana & Michigan Electric Company,
<br />in its entirety, which is dated June 25, 1975, to Mr. Thomas A.
<br />0 sterling, Clyde E. Williams & Associates, Inc., engineering con-
<br />sultant, regarding thE. above subject. He showed the designated
<br />areas on the map.
<br />The followinc easements located within the area known as Block 6
<br />are not being used by Indiana & Michigan Electric Company and will
<br />be released of record upon the written request from the South Bend
<br />Department of Redevelopment or its assigns:
<br />1) Easement granted by Bertha Irvin Sellers, December 9,
<br />1937, and recorded in Book 301, page 87, St. Joseph
<br />County Recorder's office.
<br />2) Easement granted by Herbert A. Goltz, et al., April 9,
<br />1964, and recorded in Book 651, page 145.
<br />3) Vacation Resolution 2696, dated December 31, 1951, for
<br />a portion of Columbia Street and granted subject to
<br />public utilities.
<br />4) Easements granted to I &M Electric Company by George and
<br />Anna C. Whiteman on February 18, 1905, recorded in Misc.
<br />Record "K ", page 184, and September 27, 1905, recorded
<br />in Misc. Record "K ", page 331, and an easement granted
<br />by David Bentz and Lawrence E. Daly, December 30, 1954,
<br />recorded in Book 544, page 107, were granted to accommo-
<br />date facilities being used for thE! St. Joseph River cress-
<br />ing to the area.
