Designed and constructed in harmony with <br />the overall character of the riverscape, these types of <br />uses can add another .dimension to the life and vitality <br />of the riverscape. <br />( b) Master Plan IV, Paragraph 3, Page 47 <br />"The ability to attract people to the river is based not <br />only on the qualities of the river, but also, on. the variety <br />of activities and uses that can occur.along the river. It <br />is, desirable and, to a point, essential that a variety of uses <br />and activities be developed along the river, including active <br />and passive. recreational uses and facilities, cultural <br />'facilities and events, controlled commercial establishments <br />and residential uses. The plan identifies a variety of uses <br />long and near the river. These uses are arranged with <br />consideration for achieving. a harmonious relationship <br />between uses and between each use and the riverscape. " <br />(c) Block 6 Development- Paragraph 6, Page 69 <br />'Connect a path to the Civic Center area by way of an <br />nderpass under Jefferson Bridge to minimize pedestrian- <br />car conflicts.
