5. <br />go <br />c <br />a <br />0 <br />a <br />ICATIONS (Cont'd <br />Every effort is to be made to expedite the close -out of A -10. <br />If time extension is needed to complete the remaining acquisi- <br />tion currently in condemnation, the request is to be promptly <br />submitted. <br />HUD Area Office letter dated May 16, 1975: This letter, over <br />the signature of Mr. Stephen J. Havens, Acting Director, Com- <br />munity Planning & Development, was written to transmit a copy <br />of the subject'Audit Report and to authorize the Department of <br />Redevelopment to pay Goodson, Tyler and Associates, the IPA, <br />the contract fee. <br />ThE: results of the Area Office review of the Audit Report for <br />the period ending December 31, 1974, Project R -66, will be <br />transmitted under separate cover. <br />motion by Mr. Wiggins, seconded by Mr. Wade and carried, the <br />ve communications are to be received and placed on file. <br />D BUSINESS <br />Plans for buildinq additional Plaza between Jefferson and <br />Washington Streets,-R-66: <br />Due to the anticipated length of this discussion, it was <br />agreed to discuss this item last, prior to adjournment. <br />This item was tabled in the May 9th Commission meeting, <br />and requested to be placed on the Agenda for the May 23rd <br />meeting for public discussion and hearing. <br />Right -of -way encroachment at southwest corner of Lincoln_way <br />East and Monroe Street, R -66: Mr. Brownell, Executive <br />Director, Dept`: of Redevelopment, advised this letter is <br />from Mr. Rollin E. Farrand, P.E., City Engineer, and signed <br />by Mr. Bill Slabaugh, Project Engineer, regarding this <br />subject involving Lots 19 and 20 of J. Rush's First Addition. <br />A history of the area with any disposition of the problem <br />to date is requested. <br />Mr. Brownell said this is a.matter the staff can work out <br />with Mr. Farrand. <br />Motion was made by Mr. Wiggins, seconded by Mr. Wade and <br />carried, to authorize the staff to work this out with Mr. <br />Farrand, City Engineer. <br />BUSINESS <br />Authorization to Transfer $300,000 from the Redevelopment <br />District Bonds of 1972 account to the Project Temporary <br />Loan Repayment Fund, R -66: Mr. Brownell requested the <br />transfer of $300,000 from the Bond account be added and <br />inserted in the minutes. This amount is included in the <br />approval of the claims above, Item #3. <br />- 4 - <br />AUDIT REPORT, <br />IND.
