LETTER OF RESIGNATION <br />Brownell advised we have a letter of resignation (in packets) from <br />ward D. Lark, effective May 23, 1975. He is taking a position as <br />rector of Human Relations Commission, in Elkhart. <br />Motion was made by Mr. Wiggins that we accept the letter of resignation <br />and wish Mr. Lark well on his new position. Motion seconded by Mr. Wade <br />and carried. <br />10. NEXT COMMISSION MEETING <br />e next Regular Meeting of the Redevelopment Commission will be at <br />1 :00 a.m., Friday, June 6, 1975, in the Office of they Department of <br />development. <br />11. PATE CHANGE OF COMMISSION MEETING SCHEDULED FOR FRIDAY, JULY 4 <br />pproval was requested to have the Commission Meeting, Thursday, July 3, <br />1 75, in lieu of Regular Meeting scheduled for Friday, July 4th (holiday), <br />at 10:00 a.m. <br />Motion was made by.Mr. Wiggins, seconded by Mr. Wade and carried to <br />change the above meeting to: Thursday, July 3, 1975. <br />12. REPORT ON PROGRESS WITH RIVER BEND DEVELOPMENT GROUP <br />. Allen Schrager raised the question that he believed Mr. Butler was <br />to give a report at this meeting on the progress'he is making on the <br />negotiations with the River Bend Development Group. In the Special <br />Commission Meeting of April 29 Legal Counsel had said that either on <br />May 9 or today, he would give a basic report. <br />Butler replied that he thinks the statement at the April 29th meet- <br />ing was that Mr. Brownell and he would report either on the 9th or today, <br />and the basic report was on the 9th of May. <br />Mr. Schrager asked if he is still negotiating with this group? Mr. Butler <br />said, "Not really negotiating. They are putting their costs in order and <br />I believe we concluded we would not assign the bidder or anything of that <br />sort. <br />-29- <br />
