9. DOWNTOWN REDEVELOPMENT (Cont'd <br />Mr. Caesar asked if this entire area of land is going as a block bid, <br />or as an individual bid? Mr.`Brownell's reply was that there is no <br />bid We still have individual areas. Commissioner Wiggins replied, <br />"I think, Dan, we need to be aware that success involves a large scale <br />of onfidence." Mr. Caesar again asked, "But it is not as an individual..." <br />Com issioner Wiggins' reply was, "at this time, it is not." President <br />Nim z also added that this would have to be considered at the time. <br />That the advice we received from our national consultants is that the <br />bigger the project, the better the success. Mrs. Allen replied, "That <br />is what we did 2 -1/2 years ago." The President stated that no one was <br />awa a this would happen; no one anticipated the problems with the national <br />economy. <br />10. NEXT COMMISSION MEETING <br />The next meeting of the Redevelopment Commission will be at 10:00 NEXT <br />a.m., Friday, May 23, 1975, in the Office of the Department of Re- COMMISSION <br />dev lopment. This meeting will be a special meeting in lieu of the MEETING, <br />regularly-scheduled meeting of May 16, 1975. 5 -23 -75 <br />11.
