Exhibit A- Engineer's Services <br />Miami Basin emergency overflow design discharges needed to convey events more severe than <br />the 10-year Design Storm. For the purpose of this work, the emergency overflow discharge will <br />be assumed to be a safety factor of 1.5 times the 10-year peak inflow discharge to Miami Basin, <br />unless otherwise directed by the City. <br />• Avoidance of the Duck Pond at the Erskine Municipal Golf Course, which has potential to be <br />deemed a landmark by regulatory agencies <br />Task SRS — Preliminary Watershed Report Preparation <br />MCCORMICK staff will summarize the findings of the Preliminary Design Phase in a brief letter or memo <br />report, with a narrative and support exhibits. From the alternative analysis outlined above, the report <br />will focus on general layout and sizes of proposed infrastructure improvements from Miami Basin to <br />Chippewa Basin. <br />Task SR6 — Coordination Meetings <br />MCCORMICK staff will attend meetings as requested by the City. At a minimum, MCCORMICK staff <br />would anticipate at minimum of three (3) coordination meetings with the Public Works staff and at least <br />two (2) additional coordination meetings with a representative of City Parks related to work at Erskine <br />Golf Course, as directed by the City. <br />Task SR8 — Subconsultant Services <br />In order to provide the City with a more illustrative representation of proposed concepts, which will <br />enable the Public Works and Parks staff to better reach consensus on options to pursue in future design <br />phases, McCormick Engineering will provide the services of landscape architect (through a <br />subconsultant agreement with Abonmarche Consultants) on the project. <br />Erskine Drainage Improvement Study - Scope of Services <br />Page 3 of 3 <br />(Exhibit A- Engineer's Services) <br />
