<br />Mr. Brownell read the letter from Mr. Thomas A. Oesterling,
<br />P.E., Clyde E. Williams & Associates, Inc., Engineering
<br />Consultants for the R -66 Project, dated March 19, 1975,
<br />which states that pursuant to a March 11 final inspec-
<br />tion of this project by Ralph Wadzinski of the Bureau of
<br />Traffic and Lighting, Robert Urbanski of Morse Electric
<br />Company, and Kenneth Herceg of Clyde E. Williams & Associ-
<br />ates, it has been agreed and substantiated that the Phase
<br />II -D Contract has been satisfactorily completed according
<br />to the contract plans and specifications.
<br />It is the recommendation of Clyde E. Williams & Associates
<br />that this final payment be made and that the official date
<br />of final acceptance of this completed project be March 11,
<br />1975. The Contract Performance and Payment Bond (CP -1
<br />thru CP -3 of the Contract Documents) must remain in force
<br />for the stated period of 24 months from the date of final
<br />acceptance.
<br />It is also recommended that the Morse Electric Company
<br />be required to present the "Contractor's Certificate
<br />and Release" duly sworn and notarized, concurrent with
<br />the release of the check for final payment.
<br />On motion by Mr. Wiggins, seconded by Mr. Donaldson and
<br />carried, Final Pay Estimate No. 10 and Final Acceptance
<br />to Morse Electric Company for balance of $20,438.73, was
<br />approved on Contract Phase II -D, Project Indiana R -66.
