Sniadecki <br />SUBJECT: COSB Cisco SMARTnet Renewal <br />DATE: 11 /26/19 <br />Members of the Board, <br />Please see the attached quote to renew our COSB Cisco SMARTNet contracts & VoIP <br />licenses/contracts for three (3) years. COSB has many critical pieces of Cisco <br />equipment throughout each location. The Office of Innovation and Technology team has <br />reviewed the quote and give favorable recommendation as well. Network Solutions, Inc. <br />(QPA) has worked with us to determine our following needs: <br />• Accurate equipment list <br />• One Cisco Partner for all services <br />• One Co -terminus end date for all contracts <br />• Correct coverage on all equipment, minimizing risk <br />• Correct version of Unified Communication (VoIP) licenses reflected on contracts <br />• Ongoing contract management <br />This proposal meets and exceeds the contracted QPA discount for a multi -year contract. <br />The total cost for this renewal is $297,882.20 which equates to 3 annual payments of <br />$99,294.07 (final payment information will be provided by Cisco Capital). By working <br />along with Network Solution and having QPA, Total saving is at least $125,003.65 <br />plus zero percent financing over the course of three years. <br />SMARTnet is a Maintenance Contract for a Cisco Equipment or Software. At minimum <br />we have technical support directly from Cisco. This technical support includes getting <br />proper IOS image, firmware, or updates/patches for our Cisco products. The support <br />also includes configuration assistance, network setup, and even in some cases replacing <br />damaged equipment with new equipment. <br />Thank you, <br />Michael E.
