FIRST ADDENDUM TO <br />AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVCIES BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY OF <br />SOUTH BEND, INDIANA AND NEIL MIHALICH <br />'I 11IS FIRST ADDENDUM (this "Addendum") is made and entered into this 104'day <br />Of A <br />corporation20_ff, by and between the CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, a <br />municipal organized and operating under the laws of the State of Indiana, acting by <br />and through its Board of Public Works (the "City"), and NEIL MIHALICH, an individual <br />("Contractor"). <br />RECITALS <br />WHEREAS, the City and the Contractor have entered into an Agreement for <br />Professional Services By and Between the City of South Bend, Indiana and Neil Mihalich, dated <br />January 22, 2019 (the "Agreement"), providing for assistance in managing a program to address <br />lead in homes in the City and educate the community regarding the hazards of lead paint and <br />childhood poisoning; and <br />WHEREAS, the parties desire to amend and extend the Agreement by this Addendum; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City believes that the actions contemplated by this Addendum are in the <br />best interests of the health, safety and welfare of the City and its residents and that those actions <br />comply with the public purposes and applicable provisions of state and local law. <br />NOW THEREFORE, the parties mutually agree as follows: <br />1. In Section 3, Term and Renewal Option, the phrase "December 31, 2019" shall be <br />deleted and replaced with "December 31, 2020." <br />2. The parties agree that all other terms and conditions as set forth in the Agreement <br />shall remain in full force and effect. <br />Signature Page Follows <br />
