<br />The successful bidder for the Project Notes, in the aggre-
<br />gate principal amount of Ten Million One Hundred Fifty
<br />Thousand 'Dollars ($10,150,000.00), for the Central Down-
<br />town Urban Renewal Project, R -66, was Morgan Guaranty
<br />Trust Company of New York and Salomon Brothers of New
<br />New York, with an interest rate of 4.48% and premium
<br />of $497.00, per HUD Regional Office approval and award.
<br />The maturity date is: June 20, 1975.
<br />The Notice of Sale was published in The Daily Bond Buyer,
<br />on November 4, 1974, and in The South Bend Tribune, on
<br />October 28 and November 4, 1974.
<br />A master resolution (Resolution No. 281), for the Central
<br />Downtown Urban Renewal Project, R -66, covers the authoriza-
<br />tion of these Project Notes. These notes are renewed to
<br />only cover period to June 20, 1975.
<br />On motion by Mr. Wiggins, seconded by Mr. Chenney and
<br />unanimously carried, the above bids were received and
<br />are noted for the record.
<br />Plaza Park Contracts 1 and 2: Commission authorization
<br />was requested to advertise for bids, for Contracts 1
<br />and 2, for the Plaza Park construction, Project Indiana
<br />R -66.
<br />Contract 1 will cover the construction of the Plaza
<br />Park, including brick paving, asphalt paving, lighting,
<br />boat slips and pier, timber piling, reinforced concrete
<br />construction., wood improvements to existing railroad
<br />bridge, kiosks, drinking water fountains, pavement
<br />removal, miscellaneous demolition, earthwork, exposed
<br />paving, gabions, sculpture pedestal and benches.
<br />Contract 2 is for landscaping, planting, seeding, and top
<br />soil.
