ORDINANCE NO. 35 5 <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $474,351 WITHIN FUND 212 FOR THE <br /> PURPOSE OF DEFRAYING THE ADMINISTRATIVE COSTS OF THE DEPARTMENT <br /> OF COMMUNITY AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT FOR PROGRAM YEAR <br /> BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 1996. <br /> Statement of Purpose and Intent: <br /> In order to assure the efficient and timely utilization of community resources, <br /> the Department of Community and Economic Development has entered into contracts <br /> to provide staff and administrative support for various not-for-profit organizations and <br /> programs. These revenues are the basis for the administrative budget and need to be <br /> appropriated for that use. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of <br /> South Bend, Indiana, as follows: <br /> SECTION I. The sum of $474,351.00 is hereby appropriated to Fund 212 for <br /> Program Year 1996, beginning January 1, 1996. <br /> SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its <br /> passage by the Common Council and approval by the Mayor. <br /> Meir:er ofgrCommon Council <br />
