HUD letter dated September 24, 1974: This letter, over <br />the signature of Mr. George J. Vavoulis, Regional Admin- <br />istrator, of the Chicago Office, advises the Federal <br />Regional Council's Task Force on Uniform Relocation <br />Assistance and Real Property Acquisition is undertaking <br />a survey of business relocation services and benefits <br />offered by various agencies. <br />They requested their questionnaire be executed and re- <br />turned by Friday, October 25. <br />Mr. L. Kent Wilcox advised our staff is currently working <br />on the information requested. <br />f Stream Pollution Control Board letter dated September 27, <br />1974: This letter, over the signature of Mr. Oral H. <br />Hert, Technical Secretary, Stream Pollution Control <br />Board, State of Indiana, is addressed to Mr. John E. <br />Fisher, with Lawson Associates, in acknowledgement of <br />his September 3 letter regarding our riverside develop- <br />ment along the St. Joseph River, in South Bend. <br />A riverside development is proposed along the west bank <br />of St. Joseph River between Colfax Avenue and Jefferson <br />Boulevard, consisting of six major parts: <br />a. South Bend Civic Center <br />b. White Water Rapids <br />c. Island Landscaping <br />d. South Bend Dam Repairs <br />e. Bicentennial Park <br />f. Block 6 Walkway and Park Development <br />All six parts have been submitted to the Indiana Depart- <br />ment of Natural Resources for approval. Approval for <br />Parts a, b, and.c, was granted on June 27, 1974, subject <br />to approval by the Stream Pollution Control Board. Ap- <br />proval for Parts d, e, and f, was granted on September 5, <br />1974 - -also subject to approval by the Stream Pollution <br />Control Board. <br />Their office has no objection to the proposed project <br />provided that the following conditions are met: <br />a.
