The appraisals are not public information; <br />however, the results of the.appraisals are, and the square <br />footage has been designated by the two appraisers- -one <br />at $.90 a square foot and one at $.91 a square foot- - <br />averaged out and multiplied by the square footage that is <br />there, it is approximately $645,808.00, and since they <br />are 15% within each other, we do not have to go back. <br />Mr. Lennon said we anticipate quick approval by HUD on <br />this. The specifications are written and we hope to <br />have bids back here for the Commissioners on the sale <br />of that land within 35 days. The reuse appraisal was <br />caused by the rezoning and other implications that were <br />in that redesign- including the 100 feet green strip <br />right -of -way. <br />Mr. Wiggins moved for the authorization to have the <br />Executive Director execute Proclaimer Certificate No. 8, <br />seconded by Mr. Chenney and unanimously carried. <br />Mr. Karl King inquired about the offering date for bid <br />and the advertising dates. Mr. Brownell said he antici- <br />pates to have the offering date within 45 days, and the <br />law says we must advertise for 14 days and allow proposals <br />21 days to come in. We, in house, are working for November <br />1 date for notification and it would be 35 days from that <br />date. <br />b. <br />Additional Electrical Hook -Ups: Authorization was re- <br />ADDITIONAL <br />quested for additional electrical hook -ups, at an approxi- <br />ELECTRICAL <br />mate cost of $825.00, for the west side of Michigan and <br />HOOK -UPS <br />Washin ton Streets (across from the River Bend Plaza <br />AUTHORIZED,, <br />Office ?, Project Indiana R -66. <br />R -66 <br />Mr. Lennon advised this has to do with our responsibility <br />to provide some type of electrical work for the units on <br />the supergraphic area until the Associates complex is ac- <br />cepted, and if that is the case, he recommends that we do <br />incur the cost of approximately $825.00, to provide elec- <br />trical hook -ups on the north end on Jefferson Street - <br />Washington Street supergraphic block. The vendors will <br />have individuals meters. <br />On motion by Mr. Chenney, seconded by Mr. Wiggins and <br />unanimously carried, the above additional two electrical <br />hook -ups were authorized, at an approximate cost of <br />$825.00, for installation. <br />C. <br />Model Cities Contract, E -6 Project: Authorization was <br />MODEL CITIES <br />requested for the revision and four -month extension of <br />CONTRACT EXTEN- <br />the contract with Model Cities for the completion of <br />SION AUT,!HORIZED <br />the E -6 Project, where they are paying all the costs <br />E -6 <br />of our personnel who are involved: John Davis, Chief <br />- 12 - <br />
