no <br />PROGRESS REPORTS (Cont'd) <br />The overall progress of the E -7 Project is progressing <br />on schedule, and the application deadline for the <br />first phase of the program is September 14, 1974. <br />EE =6: Report submitted by Keith Crighton. During <br />the month of August the construction work <br />on Contract 2 was successfully completed by <br />the Madison Construction Company, with work <br />on Contracts 9 and 11 progressing well. <br />Contract 4 has been re- advertised for bids in <br />accordance with HUD recommendation that an <br />acceptable bidder could not be determined <br />after the first advertisement. <br />Contracts 6 and 8 must also be re- advertised <br />for bids because of the recent dissolution <br />of Sanfaye, Inc. firm. The partial work com- <br />pleted on Contracts 3 and 7 will be deleted, <br />and the remainder combined and re- advertised <br />as Contract 7. The 18 home owners involved,, <br />have been notified of the situation. <br />4) Relocation Progress Report: Mrs. Dorothy Howell, <br />Director of Residential Relocation, submitted a <br />written report for the month: <br />Southeast N.D.P. A -10: Workload is 11 - -6 families, <br />individuals; one individual added to work- <br />load; one other pending. <br />Model Cities N.D.P. A -10: Workload is one - -moved <br />temporarily to an off -site address. Working <br />with individual for permanent housing. <br />Indiana R -57: Workload is one individual- -house is <br />in condemnation. <br />Merry Avenue: Workload is one family- -move is in- <br />complete. <br />City -Wide: Workload is ten families; two referrals <br />were received this month. Working with the <br />families. <br />Model Cities Substandard: Workload is nine families. <br />One referral received this month.
