5. <br />OLD BUSINESS (Cont'd) <br />are talking about now is adding to that with approximately 1,400 <br />to 1,500 'people in downtown South Bend. <br />President Helmen advised that we would be inclined to grant their <br />request, which runs out August 2, 1974. We will have a Commission <br />meeting on that date and'can take action at that meeting. Action <br />is n t indicated until the old action runs out. <br />The hair consented to the additional motion made by Mr. Wiggins- - <br />the iotion being that in addition to accepting the letter we <br />gran an extension of nine (9) months period of time that they <br />askel for in the Letter of Credit for the presaid payment. The <br />moti n was seconded by Mr. Wade and unanimously carried. <br />Mr. evin J. Butler, Commission Legal Counsel, in response to <br />the ews media's question, stated there are no specifics on the <br />I.U. B. matter since this is in negotiable stage, and is a matter <br />betty en Associates and Indiana University officials. <br />6. INEW BUSINESS <br />a. Amendment to Contract 1825 -30 with Model Cities, E -6: EXTENSION OF TIME <br />Approval was requested for amendment to our contract with Model APPROVED FOR CONTRACT <br />Cities for budget revision, with no change in total, and time AMENDMENT WITH MODEL <br />extension to August 31, 1974, for the Code Enforcement Project CITIES, E -6 <br />E -6. <br />On motion by Mr. Wiggins, seconded by Mr. Wade and unanimously <br />carr ed, the above contract amendment for extension of time <br />was Ipproved. <br />b.
