REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION <br />NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT i ROGi.',1_ GGIDELINES -° DRAFT <br />The Redevelopment Couanission shall. undertake a program of grants <br />:loans to individuals and non - profit_ neighborhood organizations for <br />ho sing rehabilitation. The program is designed to attack some of the <br />pr blems of deteriorating neighborhoods in the City of South ;end. <br />Under the jurisdiction of the Redevelopment Commission, the Divi- <br />sio <br />n of Community Development shall administer the Neighborhood Develop- <br />t Program. An Advisory Committee, composed of two Community Develop- - <br />t staff members (ex- officio Executive Director of the Department of <br />(four) <br />munity Development and the Director of the Bureau of Housing), two <br />ghborhood residents, and three professional experts in areal estate, <br />tgages and construction, will screen applicants for grants and loans, <br />anq recommend to the Redevelopment Comr,_lssion the grant recipients and <br />unts of grants and loans. Contracts for the rehabilitation work will <br />be approved and signed by the Redevelopment Commissioners. <br />Elf�gibi.lit� Guidelines <br />1.
