Zock to zone from "D" Light Industrial, "E" Height and Area to "A" Residential, "E" Height and Area, property located at 2311 Highland Avenue, City of South Bend - APC #1688-95 Dear Council Members: The above referenced ordinance of Gerald T. Zock was legally advertised on October 5, 1995. The Area Plan Commission at its public hearing on October 17, 1995, took the following action: Upon a motion by John DeLee, being seconded by Joseph Serge and unanimously carried, the proposed ordinance of Gerald T. Zock to zone from "D" Light Industrial, "E" Height and Area to "A" Residential, "E" Height and Area, property located at 2311 Highland Avenue, City of South Bend is sent to the Common Council with a favorable recommendation. Although many of the parcels in the immediate vicinity of the subject property are undeveloped, this rezoning is consistent with the residential character of the neighborhood. In the Commission's opinion, this rezoning should not result in adverse impacts for the surrounding area. The deliberations of the Area Plan Commission and points considered in arriving at the above decision are shown in the minutes of the public hearing, and will be forwarded to you at a later date to be made a part of this report.
