<br />Wage determination on this project is IN -296. A preconstruc-

<br />e. Southhold Restorations, Inc. letter dated January OLD SCHOOL ADMINISTRA-
<br />15, 1 74: This letter is over the signature of Mrs. Ruth TION BUILDING SALVAGE
<br />Price Executive Vice- President, requesting when the old ITEMS, R -66
<br />Schoo Administration Building is demolished, it would be a
<br />fine gesture if the brackets under the eaves could be
<br />salvaged. Southhold is willing to take custody of them in
<br />order that they might be used on some structure in the
<br />countv in a restoration program. There may be other items
<br />of va ue, but they would need to inspect the building to
<br />deter ine feasibility of reuse.
<br />On motion by Mr. Wiggins, seconded by Mr. Chenney and unani-
<br />mously carried, Mr. Lennon and /or staff was authorized to
<br />meet with Julius O'Neal (demolition contractor) and South -
<br />hold Restorations, Inc., for salvage items in the old School
<br />Administration Building. Any costs incurred for the salvage
<br />are tc be borne by Southho.ld. The stipulation was also made
<br />that the Department of Redevelopment and the demolition con-
<br />tractor are to be absolved of any liability for the removal
<br />of salvaged items.

<br />a. Name the Mall Contest Report: Mayor Jerry J. Miller RIVER BEND PLAZA
<br />in Press Conference, Monday, January 7th, at 10:00 a.m., RECOMMENDED TO BE
<br />announced his selection of the naming of the mall, which was: CHANGED TO:
<br />"RIVER BEND PLAZA." Five individuals submitted this entry
<br />out of approximately 2,500. "RIVERBEND PLAZA"
<br />The re ponse the Commissioners have received to date has
<br />been g od on the above selection.
<br />Mr. Le non advised for flux and logo, Mort Linder, public
<br />relati )ns consultant, is recommending the name, "RIVER BEND"
<br />be cha ged to one word, "RIVERBEND." That it would be better
<br />for gr phics and logo. If the Commission would go in favor
<br />of the change, a letter would be submitted to the Board of
<br />Works tor the name change, as the public relation concepts
