ORDINANCE NO. Ugq <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $29, 255. 00 FROM THE <br /> MORRIS CIVIC AUDITORIUM IMPROVEMENT FUND <br /> FOR THE PURPOSE OF PERFORMING VARIOUS REPAIRS <br /> AT THE MORRIS CIVIC AUDITORIUM <br /> STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br /> The Morris Civic Auditorium is owned by the City of South <br /> Bend and is managed under the control of the Century Center Board <br /> of Managers . The Century Center Board of Managers on July 19, <br /> 1995, determined that it is in the best public interest to <br /> complete a number of capital improvement projects prior to the <br /> start of next season and to fund those projects with funds on <br /> deposit in the Morris Civic Auditorium Improvement Fund. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOW: <br /> SECTION I . <br /> The amount of $29, 255.00 is hereby appropriated and ordered <br /> set apart within the Morris Civic Auditorium Improvement Fund for <br /> the purchase and installation of the following: <br /> PROJECT ,AMOUNT <br /> Plumbing Repairs $ 2, 100 . 00 <br /> Roof Repairs 3, 200 . 00 <br /> Air Conditioning Repairs 5, 323. 00 <br /> Asbestos Removal and <br /> Replacement of Boiler Breeching 9, 029. 00 <br /> Electrical Repairs 3, 760 . 00 <br /> Roof Vent Screen Replacement 1, 873. 00 <br /> Exterior and Interior Painting/Dry <br /> Wall Repair, Miscellaneous Carpentry 3, 970 . 00 <br /> TOTAL $29, 255. 00 <br /> SECTION II . <br /> This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and <br /> after its passage by the Common Council and Approval by the <br /> Mayor. <br />
