Mall (Renderings): Mr. Lennon displayed four colored MALL (RENDERINGS) <br />rende ing_s­of the Mall to be used as part of the brochure <br />Mort finder is preparing for public distribution; e.g., type <br />of planters, bricks, signage, canopies, street lights, differ - <br />ent s yle of benches, phones for paraplegics etc. <br />d. Snow Removal: Mr.. Lennon advised this was raised in SNOW REMOVAL <br />the earlier session. The fire lanes are opened up every even- <br />ing aid The Hickey Company is cleaning the sidewalks on the <br />Mall and all snow is removed by 8:00 a.m. We are specifically <br />conce ned about the safety of the buildings. <br />Mr. K vin Butler, Commission Legal Counsel, said the sidewalks <br />are tie responsibility of the owners. In the areas where we <br />have acquired the properties, we are taking care of the snow <br />removal. <br />Mr. Walsh raised the question of the snow on the sidewalks <br />around the old post office. Mr. Lennon said we called the <br />post office to ask who to call for the snow removal at the <br />old site. They said it wasn't their responsibility but that <br />they would have it removed. This morning it was still not <br />remov d. The snow was being removed at this point. <br />8. NEXT MEETING <br />Mr. Lennon requested Commission action for the next NEXT MEETINGS: <br />Commission meetings: <br />1) Annual Organization <br />1 Annual Organization Meeting to be held Wednesday, 1 -2 -74, 10:00 a.m. <br />January 2, 1974, at 10:00 a.m. <br />2) Special Commission <br />2 Special Commission Meeting to follow thereafter. Meeting following <br />above. <br />3 Cancellation of the regularly - scheduled Commission <br />Meeting for January 4, 1974, in lieu of the Special <br />Commission Meeting to be held January 2, 1974. <br />The m1tions for the above are shown as one, made by Mr. Wiggins, <br />secon ed by Rev.
