Excavation work has begun at_ the _ site located adjacent to the State Theatre and the Bank Plaza. 2. Ho se of Fabrics is in process of.adapting the 129 So th Michigan Building (formerly Singer's Sewing Ce ter) for retail sales and stock. 4. Bu iness System's north wall is 80% complete. 5. H. G. Christman Construction Company has obtained bu lding permits to start the Annex Building for Of ice Engineers West. The Annex will be used for retail sales and warehousing. 6. Ra mussen's Store moved into.their new quarters on October 28. The interior work is 95% complete. Fl or space increase of 25% over their former loca- ti n. 7. Wy an's Department Store preliminary estimates indicate damages of $300,000.00. 8. Avon Theatre property decision to be available in 30 to 60 days. 9. Pe estrian Way Sculptural Competition began October 19 to run through January 18, 1973, with design award by Redevelopment Commission anticipated Fe ruary 1, 1974. 10. Blue Note Lounge will be located in the former Th mson- McKinnon building, 113 West Jefferson Boulevard. 11. Public Finance Company has leased larger quarters on the third floor of.the Commerce Building, at Michigan and Wayne Street. Former space.will be renovated into office space for an accountant firm. 12. To er -Savings and Loan::Building will be tuckpointed and st am cleaned, with waterproofing below grade. 13.
