ORDINANCE NO. &741 -96 <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, APPROPRIATING $8, 000.00 FROM <br /> INDIANA RIVER RESCUE FUND (FUND #291) FOR THE PURCHASE <br /> OF EQUIPMENT <br /> STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT <br /> It has become necessary to defray certain expenses within <br /> the Fire Department with an appropriation of Eight Thousand <br /> Dollars ($8, 000 . 00) from the Indiana River Rescue Fund (Fund <br /> #291) in order to fund the purchase of certain equipment to be <br /> used in the City' s Indiana River Rescue operation. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS : <br /> Section I . The following sum of money is hereby <br /> appropriated and ordered set apart from Indiana River Rescue Fund <br /> (Fund #291) for the items set forth below: <br /> Account No . 289 0904 422 43/05 <br /> 1 - Inflatable Rubber Boat (Zodiac) <br /> 2 - Outboard Motors <br /> Miscellaneous ropes, webbing, etc. <br /> TOTAL $8, 000 . 00 <br /> Section II . This ordinance shall be in full force and effect <br /> from and after its passage by the Common Council and approval by <br /> the Mayor. <br /> Member of the Common Co ncil <br />
