(38) Dwelling, one-family means a building designed <br /> for, or occupied exclusively by, one (1) family. <br /> (39) Dwelling, two-family means a building designed <br /> for, or occupied exclusively by, two (2) families living <br /> independently and exclusively from each other. <br /> (40) Dwelling, multiple-family: See Apartment house. <br /> (41) Dwelling unit means a building or a portion <br /> thereof designed or arranged to provide living facilities for a <br /> single family. Each dwelling unit shall contain permanently <br /> installed kitchen and toilet facilities . <br /> (42) Embellishment means an addition to the display <br /> area of a sign on which a continuation of an advertising message <br /> may be placed. Such addition shall not be continuous border <br /> which would constitute an increase in the display area. Standard <br /> bases and standard trim shall not be considered embellishments . <br /> (42 . 1) Escort means a person who, for consideration, <br /> agrees or offers to act as a date for another person, or who <br /> agrees or offers to privately model lingerie or to privately <br /> perform a striptease for another person. <br /> (42 .2) Escort agency means a person or business <br /> association who furnishes, offers to furnish, or advertises to <br /> furnish escorts as one of its primary business purposes for a <br /> fee, tip, or other consideration. <br /> (43) Exterior features means the arrangement and <br /> general design of a building, structure or use, including the <br /> architectural style, scale or form, architectural details, such <br /> as windows, doors, light fixtures, fences, walls, steps or other <br /> appurtenances, the color, type or texture of building materials, <br /> signs, natural features, such as trees, rocks or rock formations, <br /> or bodies of water. <br /> (44) Family means one (1) or more persons related by <br /> blood, legal adoption or marriage, living and cooking as a single <br /> housekeeping unit, exclusive of household servants . A number of <br /> persons, but not exceeding two (2) , living and cooking together <br /> as a single housekeeping unit though not related by blood, legal <br /> adoption or marriage, shall be deemed to constitute a family. A <br /> person or persons residing with a family as hereinabove defined <br /> by reason of placement by a publicly licensed placement agency <br /> shall be considered as members of that family. <br /> 9 <br />
