ORDINANCE NO. 56g7-9� <br /> AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING $16,666.00 AMONG VARIOUS ACCOUNTS WITHIN <br /> THE DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT <br /> STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br /> In order to deliver services to homeless individuals within our community the City of <br /> South Bend received funds from the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for the delivery of <br /> such services through various subgrantees. The funds appropriated in this ordinance will aid in defraying the <br /> costs of shelter operation and maintenance and in providing essential services and assistance in homeless <br /> prevention. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South <br /> Bend, Indiana: <br /> Section I. The sum of$16,666 is hereby transferred among accounts as set forth below: <br /> Reduce the following account: <br /> PROJECT NUMBER DESCRIPTION AMOUNT <br /> ES 95-1 Center for the Homeless, Inc $5,391 <br /> ES 95-3 St. Joseph County AIDS Task Force $ 224 <br /> ES 95-4 YWCA of St. Joseph County 11,051 <br /> Total: $16,666 <br /> Increase the following account: <br /> PROJECT NUMBER DESCRIPTION AMOUNT <br /> ES 96 - 1 Center for the Homeless, Inc $5,188 <br /> ES96 - 2 St. Joseph County AIDS Task Force 69 <br /> ES96 - 4 - YWCA of St. Joseph County 5,000 <br /> ES96 - 5 Family& Children's Services 6.409 <br /> Total: $16,666 <br /> Section II.
