Lennon, <br />Jr., t3 negotiate for extension of time to the Department of <br />Public Welfare, located in the Old School Administration <br />Buildi g, R -66. Commission has received copies of corres- <br />ponden a regarding the meeting the Board of County Department <br />of Pub is Welfare had relative to necessary quarters addressed <br />to Mr. Cooreman, President, St. Joseph County Commissioners. <br />Mr. Le non advised the County Commissioners requested Com- <br />missioi authorization to allow a continuation of their lease <br />from 0 tober 1 until a date no later than January 1, 1974, <br />in the old School Administration Building. The Civic Center <br />Authority has agreed and the architect would like the building <br />demoli hed as soon as he develops the site plan. Because of <br />the po sible historical significance of the building, the <br />South end Community School Corporation has requested we <br />turn a .v artifacts found over to them. <br />Staff ecommends the time extension for the rennovation of <br />their ew quarters.
