6.I <br />NEW BUSINESS (Cont-" <br />) <br />On motion by Rev. Williams, seconded by Mr. Wiggins and <br />un nimously carried, Resolution No. 454 was adopted. <br />e. Resolution No. 455: This Resolution relates to <br />acquisition of property b y condemnation, for Parcel No. <br />4-4, with a concurred -in acquisition price of $1,500.00, <br />in the LaSalle Park Urban Renewal Project, R -57. <br />On motion by Mr. Wiggins, seconded by Rev. Williams and <br />un nimously carried, Resolution No. 455 was adopted. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 455 <br />ADOPTED, R -57 <br />f. NAHRO Institute on Community Development: Authori- NAHRO INSTITUTE ON <br />za ion was requested for the Executive Director to attend COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT, <br />thE NAHRO Institute on Community Development, to be held AUGUST 21 THRU 24, 1973 <br />August 21 through 24, 1973, in Oakland, California. <br />Mr. Lennon advised he attended the first Institute last <br />November, and it was very worthwhile and encouraging for <br />his professional growth and report back to Commission on <br />Community Development as it relates to our programs. <br />On motion by Mr. Wiggins, seconded by Mr. Chenney and <br />un nimously carried, the Executive Director was authorized <br />to attend the NAHRO Institute, as noted above. <br />g. 25th Anniversary Conference: Authorization was re- 25TH ANNIVERSARY <br />quested for one staff member to attend the 25th Anniversary CONFERENCE, JULY 15 <br />Conference, in Atlanta, Georgia, July 15 through 20, 1973. THRU 20, 1973 <br />Mr. Lennon recommended Mr. Frank Alford be authorized to <br />attend, as he is responsible for the EEO and human rights. <br />On otion by Rev. Williams, seconded by Mr. Wiggins and <br />una imously carried, Mr. Alford was authorized to attend <br />the 25th Anniversary Conference. <br />h. Rehabilitation Grants: Commission approval was re- TWO (2) REHABILITATION <br />que ted of two 2 Rehabi itation Grants, for the Model GRANTS APPROVED, PARCEL <br />Cites East Code Enforcement Project E -5, for the follow- NOS. 32 -36 & 33 -6, E -5 <br />ing: <br />Parcel No. <br />Address <br />32- 6 1129 W.
