<br />We have received Wage Determination and permission to
<br />advertise above contract from HUD. Commission approved
<br />advertising in prior Commission Meeting, Executive Session.
<br />Approval to advertise is requested for the record.
<br />The advertising schedule would be August 1 and August 8,
<br />1973, with bid opening date of August 31, 1973, award by
<br />Commission September 7, 1973 and construction to begin
<br />September 25, 1973, with an engineer's estimate of
<br />$11,690.00.
<br />On motion by Mr. Wiggins, seconded by Mr. Chenney and
<br />unanimously carried, Demolition and Site Clearance Contract
<br />No. 33 was approved for advertising.
<br />d. Site Improvement Contract A and B: Authorization TIME EXTENSION
<br />was requested for extension of time, on Site Improvement APPROVED FOR SITE
<br />Contract A and B, with Rieth -Riley Construction Co., Inc., IMPROVEMENT CONTRACT
<br />for street, curb and sidewalk work, E -5, to June 10, 1973, A & B, WITH RIETH-
<br />with no change in contract price. RILEY CONSTRUCTION
<br />CO., INC., E -5
<br />Mr. Lennon said one of the subcontractors is unable to com-
<br />plete he work on time and Rieth -Riley is requesting an addi-
<br />tional time extension.
