Award of Contracts for Phase III Pedestrian Way: PHASE III, PEDESTRIAN <br />President Helmen informed the audience the Commission has WAY, CONTRACT AWARD <br />gone over the bids at great length, and that the awarding DEFERRED, R -66 - <br />of the bids is being deferred for a Special Meeting to be SPECIAL COMMISSION <br />held in the Redevelopment Office, on May 22, 1973, at MEETING, 5 -22 -73 <br />10:30 A.M., due to additional information requested from <br />the Consulting Engineers in the Joint Venture for amplifi- <br />cation on the bids. The Commission will be ready to make <br />the awards in the Public Session, in this Special Meeting, <br />Tuesday, May 22, 1973. <br />b. Murphy Consultant, Inc. Contract: Authorization MURPHY CONSULTANT, INC. <br />was requested to enter into an Engineering Contract with CONTRACT APPROVED, R -57 <br />Murphy Consultants, Inc., for engineering and design ser- <br />vices related to the proposed secondary outlet sewer for <br />Beck's Lake, R -57, subject to Legal Counsel approval, in <br />amount not to exceed $4,000.00. <br />Mr. Le non advised this will complete the Public Works <br />improv ments at Beck's Lake and complete the R -57 Project, <br />as it relates to site improvements in this Project. <br />On motion by Mr. Chenney, seconded by Mr. Wiggins and unani- <br />mously carried, staff was authorized to enter into the above <br />Engine ring Contract with Murphy Consultants, Inc., in <br />amount not to exceed $4,000.00, subject to Legal Counsel ap- <br />proval and the President and Secretary authorized to exe- <br />cute. <br />c.
