Award of Contracts for Phase III Pedestrian Way: PHASE III, PEDESTRIAN President Helmen informed the audience the Commission has WAY, CONTRACT AWARD gone over the bids at great length, and that the awarding DEFERRED, R -66 - of the bids is being deferred for a Special Meeting to be SPECIAL COMMISSION held in the Redevelopment Office, on May 22, 1973, at MEETING, 5 -22 -73 10:30 A.M., due to additional information requested from the Consulting Engineers in the Joint Venture for amplifi- cation on the bids. The Commission will be ready to make the awards in the Public Session, in this Special Meeting, Tuesday, May 22, 1973. b. Murphy Consultant, Inc. Contract: Authorization MURPHY CONSULTANT, INC. was requested to enter into an Engineering Contract with CONTRACT APPROVED, R -57 Murphy Consultants, Inc., for engineering and design ser- vices related to the proposed secondary outlet sewer for Beck's Lake, R -57, subject to Legal Counsel approval, in amount not to exceed $4,000.00. Mr. Le non advised this will complete the Public Works improv ments at Beck's Lake and complete the R -57 Project, as it relates to site improvements in this Project. On motion by Mr. Chenney, seconded by Mr. Wiggins and unani- mously carried, staff was authorized to enter into the above Engine ring Contract with Murphy Consultants, Inc., in amount not to exceed $4,000.00, subject to Legal Counsel ap- proval and the President and Secretary authorized to exe- cute. c.
