706' IMPROVEVENT RESOLUTION NO.44. /Resolved by the Board of PublicIW6t.�k,-.P,,,-:6.f�1.1"tht 'City' ;,of" SduthziBend Indiana.That it is desired and deemed necessary to make the following described public improvements in the said City as authorized by the following numbered Improvement Resolutionadopted by said Board on the 9th. day odY August 1910. Resolved that an improvement be made of the kind,sizelocations and terminal points as follows: By Grading Elwood Avenue and Woodward Avenue from property line to property line.,--rom the easterly line of Portage Avenue to the southerly line of the right of way of the Michigan CentralRailway. Said Improvement shall be known and desiKnated as the ELWOOD AVENUE and WOODWARD AVENUE GRADING IMPROVEMENT NO.44. Detail,drawings,plans.pr.ofiles and specifications are on file and -may be seen at the office of said Board and all work in the making of said public improvements must be done in accordance therewith. -Said Board has fixed the 26th. da'y of.August 1910.as a date upon which remonstrances may be filed or heard by persons interested or -affected by said public improvements and on said day at 7-15 P.M. said Boardwill at its said office hear and consider any remonstrate and person interested or whose property is affected by said public improvement and will decidewhetherthe benefits thatwillaccrue to the property,abuttin.g and a0jacent. to thep proposed improvement and to slid (ity.will be equal to or exceed the ertimated cost of the proposed improvements.as estimated by the -City Civil Engineer. A Bond or Bonds to be i-sued tothe Contractor in payment of such work where the property owner sipnes waiver required.as according to.law. Which said Bonds shall bear interest at the rate of six per. cent per annum.payable as provided by law. 9 President.
