Board met in regular session all members present at 10 A.iVi, Contract awarded to J. H. Burke for Water Connections on Diamond avenue Remonstrance received and placed on file from the South Bend Manufacturing Co. ° remonstrating against the dumping of refuse matter in the St,Joseph River above the Dam. ✓ Contractors Excavation Bonds approved as follows: James Aslin.James Nelson.and South Rend Heating and Plumbing Co. Engineer filed Assessment Roll and Final Estimate for Tarvia Macadam Pavement on VanBuren Street from Portage Avenue to Howard avenue.under Improvement Resolution No. 600. Recolved,that notices as to the amounts of assessments be published for six .consecutive days in the South_ Bend Daily Times,commencing on the 29 day of July 1910 stating that this Board will give a hearing on the amount of such assessment at its office in to City Hall on the 19th. day of August 1910 at 7-15 P.M. Resolved further that the entire work under the above contract be accepted and Approved and the Final Estimate thereon'allowed . Notice of this resolution shall be published on the 29day of Jmly 1910 in the South Bend Daily Times ,stating that this Board will give a•hearing on the € cceptance of such work at its office in the City Hall on the 19th. day of August at47-15 P. M.
