664.r s Board met in regular session at 10A.M. all members present . Contract awarded to C. H. Defrees for Tar Filled Macadam on Hammond Court under Improvement Resolution N0.10 signed and approved. Petition received and refered to the City Engineer for the Condemnation and opening of Georgie Avenue from its present Southern terminus to Sample Street. Hearing given on Declaratory) Resolution NO. 29. for Pipe Seaver gn East Maderson Street from Emerick Street to 15 feet, West of the East line of Lot 10 Cottrells Second Addition. In the above matter no.further remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were filed. Therefore be it Resolved that the Board find in each and everyaasein said improvements that the benefits to the property,and to the City of South Bend are equal -to the estimated cost of said improvements and the same are hereby in all things ratified confirmed and approved. Be it resolved that notiees be published in the South Bend Daily Times on the 1$th. dav of June and on the-25th. day of -June 1910 to the effect that this Board will teceive , bids,'feT-.tbe0construction of said improvements up to 10 A. X. on the £nth. day of July 1910 The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bida. J Two Lights ordered placed on East Jefferson Street between Eddy and Sunny side Ave. J .En;:yineer filed Assessment Roll of awards of damages and acsessnents of.benefits under Condemnattdn Resolution No. 1.for the opening and extension of Catalpa Ave. from First Alley North of Leon Court to Prairie Ave. The Board has ordered that notices of such awards of dama es and assessment of benefits be served by the Police Department according to law and that a hearing be had on the lst. day of July 1910 at 7-15 P.M. in the City Hall.for the purp6se of hearing or receiving objections of any person or persons interested in said matter.
